Rohit worked in corporate sector for over 2 decades, before identifying the fact that his true interest is in helping addicts and social work. He dedicated his life to helping others navigate the challenges of addiction.

Rohit is a cornerstone of support within the Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) community, embodying the principles of sobriety and service. His commitment to continuous learning and personal growth is evident through his pursuit of various certifications and educational programs, including a Certificate in NGO Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work Counseling from IGNOU. Additionally, Rohit has undergone specialised training in drug abuse prevention and counselling from reputable institutions such as NISD and Hazelden Betty Ford.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Rohit actively engages in community outreach initiatives, including conducting group and one-on-one counselling sessions, facilitating AA sharing sessions, and spearheading community mobilisation efforts. His dedication to sharing his personal journey and insights through Just for Today (JFT) sessions and Big Book reading sessions inspires hope and instils courage in those on the path to recovery.
